Tools Of Transformation: My Magic toolbox

Tools of Transformation: Psychological

We all have our story.

There is no human in the world without trauma. Birth itself is traumatic - thank god we can't remember it - could you imagine?!

Together we will work to reveal and release current blockages in the form of limiting beliefs which, while they have gotten you to where you are now, no longer serve you on this day.

It's important to note that these beliefs served a powerful purpose in the form of coping mechanisms, this it's important to have compassion for ourselves when realizing these beliefs. These mechanisms has developed in order for us to survive in our unique set of circumstances. The issue here is that what was once a necessary coping mechanism to survive may no longer be best serving you in your current reality.

To take it a step further, 90% of our daily behaviors are governed by our subconscious and unconscious as automatic responses (think about it, if you thought about every move you made every day - you would be exhausted by the time you were done brushing your teeth).

This is what I call the conscious awareness portion, using techniques including self-monitorization and behavioral modification.

As a certified Positive Psychology coach I will work with you to unearth these belief systems, unraveling them each like a tangled ball of yarn. By bringing these limiting beliefs into your awareness and the light of our consciousness, we will be able to take their power away from impacting your life - making space for new beliefs, habits, and life circumstances.

Positive Psychology is a scientifically respected and proven system. Positive Psychology and Mindfulness together are powerful tools for change. Positive psychology is a branch of psychology focused on the character strengths and behaviors that allow individuals to build a life of meaning and purpose—to move beyond surviving to flourishing. Theorists and researchers in the field have sought to identify the elements of a good life. They have also proposed and tested practices for improving life satisfaction and well-being. - Psychology Today.

Tools of Transformation: Energetic

Energetic, or ‘energy healing’. We are all energy.

This is a fact. Science continues to prove that everything is energy.

As the famous Austrian theoretical physicist Erwin Schrödinger put it, “What we observe as material bodies and forces are nothing but shapes and variations in the structure of space.... Particles are just schaumkommen (appearances).”

In other words, everything is energy. Taking it a step further we learn that energy can be neither created nor destroyed but only changed from one form to another.

So it would make sense to deduce, if we are energy, and our emotions are energy, and this energy is not serving us, we must work with that same energy in a mindful and deliberate way. Instead of ignoring this energy or trying to distract ourselves from it's existence we acknowledge it, accept it, and mold it  so that it can move into a more constructive and self-serving form.

There are countless ways to do this. Some of the techniques I have been blessed enough to learn include:

Reiki - a powerful japanese healing modality using life-force energy to heal. This takes place in our physical energetic field. What we cannot see with our own eyes we can often experience in an intuitive sense, once we learn to quiet down our mind-chatter and thoughts.

Tools of Transformation: Physical

This one is my favorite. I mean how gratifying to experience real results?

We are physical beings after all and we all have the power in us and around us to change and to grow.

While it’s my favorite, it’s also (in my opinion) the hardest.

This is the part that in my experience I myself tried to run from - if only a YouTube meditation could free me from my own destructive behavior (not enough on it's own - believe me, I tried).

There are many simple techniques that, when practiced regularly and with intention, are powerful tools for change.

A few of my favorites include Breathwork, Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, and many more positive psychology based methods and mindful based practices.
